This series is pretty old, and the manga has reached over 900 chapters. The fact that it is so old makes the ones who haven't watched it lose interest.
Although it took time for me to watch it myself, and I wouldn't have if a friend didn't recommend it to me. But as soon as I even watched the first episode, I couldn't take a break from watching it. I didn't even want to go to sleep and wanted to just keep watching this awesome anime.

You people who haven't watched this one, I recommend this anime because of it's awesome, although drawing style is similar to Yu Yu Hakusho.(Drawing style is alot better in the new season(s))
This anime doesn't have some kind of supernatural powers, this anime is all about boxing, epic boxing. Even though I didn't like to watch boxing, this anime made me like it.

The main character is named Ippo, and he isn't like the person you'd imagine to be, since well... You'll just notice as you watch the episodes(If you haven't that is)

So, watch this anime now or you'll regret it!

Hajime no ippo. I always saw the character in the background of this site and I was like I wnna see this but I didnt know what anime it was and I couldnt be bothered to look for it, but the depth of this anime is so good it teaches you everything from courage to not giving up, this anime won't let you down, I didnt like boxing at first but thanks to this anime I wanna go to a boxing gym
